Sometimes flights in the peak summer months can be expensive unless booked well ahead. An alternative route we have used sometimes is to fly into Lisbon. This is around a 3 hour drive along a motorway toll road. However it is a good route for anyone that would like to spend part of their holiday elsewhere in Portugal rather than just the Algarve. Lisbon, in particular, is a delightful place to spend a couple of days. |
